Saints are ....

In addition to those referred to as Saints, Holy Mother Church recognizes the Beatified, who are given the title "Blessed," whom the Faithful are invited to learn about and from whom the Faithful are invited to seek their intercession. If a miracle is investigated by Holy Mother Churhc, and deemed to have occurred and resulted from a Blessed's intercession, that fact can serve the cause of the the Blessed's Canonization as future Saint.

Their are other individuals, not Beatifued, deemed "Venerable" or "Servant of God."

The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) describes Angels as:

The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) is accompanied by what is technically an additional text to assist the reader, the CCC Glossary. The CCC Glossary*** change link to "A"**** defines Angels as:

SACRAMENT: An efficacious sign of grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church, by which divine life is dispensed to us through the work of the Holy Spirit (774, 1131). The sacraments (called "mysteries" in the Eastern Churches) are seven in number: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance or Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony (1210).

The Archangel Michael leads the Heavenly Hosts in their victory over the evil fallen angels in the Book at Revelations, and also ***.

The Archangel Gabriel appears to the Blessed Mother Mary to announce the Incarnation of Jesus, and to Zechariah to announce the coming of John the Baptist to Zechariah and Saint Elizabeth.

The Archangel Raphael appears in Holy Scripture in the Book of Tobit, where ****.

(Some schismatic elements, in other denominations, argue that the Book of Tobit is part of a so-called apocrypha, Books of the Bible they would like to pretend are not in the Bible, even though they are. Such claims, and even the use of the word "apocrypha" are actually sinful and blasphemous because they deny God, by denying that the Word of God is indeed the Word of God. It was Holy Mother Church who Canonized the Bible decades after the Resurrection, while those claiming that some parts of the Bible should no longer be included tend to come from denominations that did not come into their schismatic existence until fourteen or more centuries after Holy Mother Church already had Canonized the Bible, including the portions they would like pretend are not in it. It also is of concern to note that seeking to exclude portions of the Bible sets a tone that others have mimicked by seeking to pretend that some of the Laws of God are not part of the Laws of God, if those Laws of God do not fit their sinful inclinations.)
